BEIJING
Before we made our journey to Chongqing, we stayed in Beijing for a few days to experience magnificent sights such as the Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Bird's Nest (Olympic Stadium), Wangfujing and Tiananmen Square. Photos from all of these amazing locations are highlighted below with some information about these historic and popular sites! |
CHONGQING
Our next stop was in Chongqing, home of Chonqing University the destination of focus for our trip. Along with a tour of the University's campuses, we also were able to experience the Dazu Rock Carvings, and the ancient town of Ciqikou. We also had the pleasure of presenting to students in the JCI program at Chongqing, and hanging out with them playing basketball and singing Karaoke at a KTV bar. |
XI'AN
Our final stop before leaving China was in Xi'an. Xi'an is the capital of Shaanxi Province, People's Republic of China. While here we visited the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, Terracotta Warriors excavation site, and were able to explore and enjoy the view form the ancient city wall. |
